Annual Musical

The DSHA Theatre Department is excited to announce auditions for their fall music, The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical!  Join us this fall as we tell a story where the Greek gods are real, they have kids – and those kids have issues!  With an amazing rock soundtrack, DIY aesthetic, and hilarious script, you won't want to miss this exciting opportunity.  

 

Auditions will be held in the Robert & Marie Hansen Family Fine Arts Theatre at DSHA on Tuesday, May 28 from 3:30-7 p.m. Students should sign up for a 30-minute time slot using the link on this page. Auditions are open to all rising 9-12 DSHA students as well as boys from any area high school. Callbacks will be held Wednesday, May 29 from 3:30-6:00 p.m. at DSHA.

 

For auditions, students will only need to prepare one song of their choice from the audition songs list. At auditions, we may teach a short dance to see how you move and may have you do a cold reading from the script. Please dress appropriately for movement.
