From the Desk of Principal Quesnell

Welcome to Divine Savior Holy Angels High School,

We get girls! Our entire program at DSHA is deliberately designed to help our young women grow to become confident and capable believers, critical thinkers, leaders and communicators. Our community is enriched by the people; our students, faculty and staff, alumnae, parents and friends. I’d like to invite you to explore our website to learn about our mission as a Catholic school, our college-prep curriculum, the vast co-curricular offerings and much more.

Our Catholic identity is at the forefront of everything that we do. From the Theology curriculum to daily prayer to Mass to our Campus Ministry programming, we keep the Salvatorian mission to foster the awareness of a loving God and to promote the Gospel message of Jesus Christ at the heart of our school. The DSHA experience provides our young women with the opportunity to better understand and appreciate our Catholic faith and to grow in their relationship with God while learning to work for justice and peace in our world.

Our rigorous curriculum appropriately challenges our students to think critically and to communicate effectively while preparing them for college. Our teachers are creative and effective professionals who strive to engage students in each lesson while helping each student develop requisite skills. Annually, 99 percent of our graduates pursue post-secondary education and they report back to us that they feel exceptionally prepared for success in college. The average DSHA student performance on the ACT over the past three years has exceeded twenty-six, which demonstrates the talent level of our students and their preparedness for success on such measures.

We strongly encourage all students to be involved in co-curricular activities during their high school years. Involved students typically find greater academic success and so we provide opportunities for all of our students to grow as leaders. Our athletic program offers non-cut sports in each season—in fact over half the student body typically participates in a fall sport. Angelaires and theatre are two additional hallmarks of the DSHA co-curricular opportunities. We offer a plethora of clubs and activities from Campus Ministry Council to ¡Juntos! and from Student Congress to Literary Magazine and much more.

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website and to learn more about the DSHA experience. We appreciate your continued support for the work we do with young women in our mission.
