Come Experience DSHA Theatre!

The DSHA Theatre Department is one of the many crown jewels here at DSHA.  Whether you are an actress, singer, dancer, carpenter, or engineer; there is an opportunity for you in the theatre department!  We offer four shows a year including two main stage musicals held in our state-of-the-art Robert and Marie Hansen Family Fine Arts Theatre, a main stage comedy or drama, and a spring production performed in our intimate Arena Theatre.  You can also take advantage of preparing pieces to include in our Winter or Spring Performing Arts Showcases.  Not enough time in your schedule to commit to a full scale production?  Join the DSHA Drama Club and participate in improv sessions, small scale cabaret shows and murder mystery performances.  Academically we offer three levels of acting classes, playwriting, and an array of technical and stage craft classes taught in our DSHA scene shop. For those students with a lot of experience, we offer both acting and design internships each semester.  Whether on stage or behind the scenes, there is always an opportunity waiting for you in the Theatre Department.
